We are expanding our Ni-Cd battery ranges with new M-product variants

More options for precise battery system sizing: We have expanded our Nickel-Cadmium Vented KM Single Cell Range and Lomain KGM Cell Range with Harmonised & Extended M-product variants, offering a wider range of individual cell capacities.

The extended ranges allow us to respond more precisely to the specific requirements of individual projects and provide greater flexibility when configuring battery systems.

What do the new variants offer?

- More precise adaptation to project requirements thanks to a wider range of available individual cell capacities, increased by 2,5 times. Now with choice from 110 cell ratings in Ranges, sizing close to the actual requirement reducing the battery oversizing.
 
- Excellent high-rate discharge performance with improved capability to handle short-term inrush peak loads while maintaining a stable DC system voltage.

- More efficient and faster recharging thanks to an optimized active mass ratio, that maximises system availability, reliability and continuity.

- Compact Single cell design for all rated capacities with seamless, non-welded surface on all side-walls and bottom of the GAZ unique mono-block cell container, actively prevent any risk of leakage, handling, safety or environmental hazards.

- Vented KM range [IEC 60623]
110 cells | single cell capacity from as low as 10 Ah up to 1,430 Ah (C5)

- Lomain KGM range [IEC 62259]
110 cells | single cell capacity from as low as 11 Ah up to 1,380 Ah (C5)

The new variants continue the tradition of “Made in Germany” quality and build on more than 140 years of experience in the development and manufacture of Nickel-Cadmium batteries.

Existing battery ranges will remain available for current orders and outstanding offers, so there will be no changes for our customers in this respect. For batteries already in operation, we will continue to supply spare cells with identical capacity and dimensions to ensure smooth replacements.
