We are pleased to announce that we have just launched the GAZ Academy – an online educational platform.
On September 15, 2022, the network invited for the first time to a cooperation exchange with the title "AkkumulatorenCampus Zwickau", in which GAZ GmbH also participated as an exhibitor.
While our planet’s fossil and in particular biological reserves are dangerously depleting, our supply of nickel is virtually inexhaustible – in part because it is easy to recycle. That is good news, because nickel is a key material for both current and future technologies.
Right now, there are on average ten used batteries in every household in the European Union. This adds up to tens of millions of batteries which often do not end up in recycling centres, but in landfills and incinerators.
The history of batteries began almost 400 years ago. To better understand their development, it is useful to realise that the primary purpose of this invention was to generate and store electrical energy.
